Product Manager, LevelBlue

For most of us, 2020 will not be the year we look back upon most favourably, but the same might not be said for cybercriminals.

For them, it would seem the sun has been shining brightly, and oh boy have they been busy making hay.

Criminals are primarily using this attack vector with two endgames in mind - Business Email Compromise (BEC) scams, and ransomware attacks.

Armed with a bit of history and some observation on where we are today, LevelBlue’s Eric Pinkerton explores why these attacks appear to be increasing in chutzpah, cadence and consequence for the victims and their customers and offer up some speculation about the trajectory we are on.

Our Product Manager, Apurv Dogra provides some tips on how we can utilize key functions of email gateways to best insulate ourselves from these attacks. Together with Eric you’ll learn how best to respond if all else fails.
