Trustwave Database Security Solutions Receive Certificate of Networthiness from U.S. Army

Trustwave DbProtect and AppDetectivePro Added to ITES-SW-CHESS Army Contract

CHICAGO - November 28, 2016 - Trustwave today announced that its database security products received their Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the U.S. Army, approving their use in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure (AEI).

Trustwave has a vast presence across a large number of U.S. Federal government agencies who deploy Trustwave AppDetectivePro for database security and compliance auditing and assessment engagements and Trustwave DbProtect for real-time automated database security, risk and compliance across the global enterprise.

Both solutions help organizations gain control over their database processes to cost-effectively meet regulatory mandates and secure sensitive data. Significant time and effort is saved by automating the collection and analysis of database ecosystem information to enable proactive remediation of vulnerabilities, maintain compliance policies and provide compensating controls for issues that cannot be immediately fixed.

"As the pioneer in database security, Trustwave Government Solutions is committed to developing and delivering the most comprehensive, scalable database security software solutions to the U.S. Armed Forces and other federal agencies that seek to uphold the highest standards in data security and privacy," said Bill Rucker, President of Trustwave Government Solutions. "Our continuous work with the Army, along with our consistent involvement securing sensitive data for other military and government organizations, exemplifies our commitment to providing excellent database protection and customer service."

"The addition of Trustwave's database security solutions to Carahsoft's Army CHESS ITES-SW contract provides our Army and military customers with easy access to the database security support they need to fulfill their enterprise infrastructure goals," said Michael Adams, Army CHESS ITES-SW Program Manager at Carahsoft, a Trustwave distributor to U.S. government agencies. "We are pleased to add Trustwave database security solutions to our ITES-SW contract and to make them available to our customers and reseller ecosystem."
